Monsal Trail - We really do recommend a visit!

The former Matlock to Buxton rail line has been converted into a cycle and walk track, through the fantastic Derbyshire Peak District – you can even cycle or walk through the previously closed tunnels which are now fully open and lit! You can even hire a cycle for a couple of hours or a complete day to explore the beautiful countryside. This is all less than two miles away from Holly Cottage – see the website www.hassopstation.co.uk The views when you cycle out of the Headstone tunnel onto the Monsal viaduct are absolutely fantastic – you will not be disappointed
